Youth service planned

Mount Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 401 Irvine St., will have a youth explosion service at 11 a.m. Sunday.

The theme will be from Matthew 19:14 “Youth united for the kingdom.”

John Putman, senior at McKenzie High School and the chaplain of the MHS football team, will be the guest speaker.

The Rev. Andre Richardson is the pastor of Mount Zion. 

 

Revival services planned

Oak Hill Union Church, 5135 Hwy. 69 northwest of Paris, will have revival services at 7 p.m. every night from Sunday-Tuesday.

Steve Townsend will be the guest speaker on Sunday, Steve Whitworth will be the speaker on Monday and Jimmy Carter, along with his choir, will be the guest speaker on Tuesday. 

 

Hat-e-lujah program set

Barrs Chapel Church, 5560 Briarpatch Lake Road northwest of Como, will have a hat-e-lujah program at 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

All women are asked to wear a hat to the event and men are also invited to attend.

Debra Haynes of Barrs Chapel will be the guest speaker.

 

Breakfast of love set

Wiley Chapel United Methodist Church, 422 W. Blythe St., will hold its breakfast of love from 9-10:30 a.m. on Saturday.

Anyone 55 years of age or older and ministers of any age are invited to attend.
