Andrew Dylan Bigham of Paris and Angela Marie Survant of Princeton, Ky., are to be joined in marriage at 7 p.m. Dec. 30 at Maplewood Baptist Church in Paris, with a reception to follow at the Paris Convention Center.
The groom-elect is the son of Pam Bigham and Darrell Bigham, both of Paris, and the grandson of Retia Hill of Paris, the late Elroy Hill and the late Johnnie and Dorothy Bigham.
Bigham graduated in 2011 from Henry County High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing in May at Murray State University.
While at Murray State, he was a member of the Association of periOperative Registered Nurses (AORN); the president of the Kentucky Association of Nursing Students (KANS); a Murray State University Student Ambassador; a member of Sigma Alpha Lambda Honors Leadership Organization and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars; and was voted Who’s Who Among Students in Universities and Colleges.
Bigham is now a registered nurse at Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Nashville.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Dorothy Hammons of Princeton and the late James Survant and the granddaughter of Jean Dillehay of Eddyville, Ky., and the late D.L. Dillehay.
Survant graduated in 2011 from Caldwell County High School, earned a bachelor’s degree in agriculture in 2015 at Murray State University and an associate’s degree in dental hygiene this year from Henderson Community College.
She is now employed as a registered dental hygienist with Montee & Montee Dental Co. in Nashville.
