Former Parisian Terry Taylor Lackey, 69, of McKenzie died Sunday, March 10, 2019, at his residence. No cause of death was given.
The funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Thompson Creek Baptist Church in Como, with Billy Ross officiating.
Interment will follow with a graveside burial at Oliver Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. at the church. Brummitt-McKenzie Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
Lackey was born Dec. 27, 1949, at the Nobles Clinic in Paris. He was the son of the late Edd and Evelyn Taylor Lackey.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Brenda Lackey of McKenzie; three sons, Rusty Lackey, Clint (Traci) Lackey and Jacob Lackey, all of Paris;
Two stepsons, Cary Marsh of Paris and Brad (Julie) Cantrell of McKenzie; a sister, Galia (Lee) Greer of Paris; two brothers, Pete (Tammy) Lackey and Joey Lackey, both of Paris;
A granddaughter, Jocie Lackey of Paris; two grandsons, Austin (Haleigh) Cantrell and Aaron Cantrell, both of McKenzie; and two great-grandsons, Kennedy and Parker.
He was a cabinet supervisor at Atlantic Homes in Dresden and Henry for 28 years. He enjoyed crappie fishing, gardening and raising flowers.
