Henry County Circuit Judge Donald Parish has added an additional criminal day of court to hear cases and pleas for those represented by the public defender’s office.

Court will meet at  9 a.m. Wednesday at the county jail.

Circuit Court Clerk Mike Wilson said this will allow some relief from such a heavy court docket during the regular upcoming June 10 day of Circuit criminal court. Efforts are being made to adhere to the COVID-19 guidelines and Tennessee Supreme Court orders regarding safety protocols and this should help, Wilson said.
