Many local offices have been closed recently because of the COVID-19 pandemic, but the Memorial Day holiday coming up Monday will be closing most places anyway.
Henry County courthouse offices, including those in the annex on West Washington Street, will be closed.
Paris city hall will be closed, but all emergency services will be on their regular schedule.
The Paris Public Works Department will be closed on Monday.
The sanitation routes for Monday and Tuesday will be run on Tuesday.
The Paris-Henry County Landfill will be closed Monday and will reopen at 7 a.m. Tuesday.
The Paris-Henry County Animal Shelter will be closed Monday and will reopen at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday.
The Paris Civic Center will be closed Monday and will reopen at 6 a.m. Tuesday.
All post office windows will be closed and no residential mail will be delivered.
The Paris Board of Public Utilities offices will be closed, as will the Paris-Henry County Public Utility District (natural gas) office.
Rhea Public Library will be closed.
Henry City Hall and Puryear City Hall will both be closed.
Other agencies to be closed Monday include the Henry County Office on Aging, Henry County Nutrition Center, Henry County Extension office and the Henry County Recycling Center.
Also closed will be the Paris Housing Authority, and the Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council Service Center.
The Post-Intelligencer will be closed Monday. No newspaper will be published, but publication will resume Tuesday.
