Henry County Health Department nurses (from foreground) Maleighea Boyd and Tashay Ingram, both LPNs, and Lora Phillips, RN, were gathering information and swabbing noses for COVID-19 tests Tuesday morning, when about 15 vehicles were in line in the department’s parking lot. The Health Department continues to provide free COVID testing with new self tests provided on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays by appointment. Regular nose swab tests are offered on Tuesday and Thursday mornings by appointment only. The Health Department also is administering vaccines to seniors 75 years and older and local school teachers weekdays by appointment only. For more information, call 642-4025.
