A Jackson television station has named a story related to a device invented by a Paris couple as the top story in its “viewer’s favorite” list of Made in Tennessee stories.
WNBJ, the NBC and CW affiliate in Jackson, named a story on the Footbar Walker for the honor.
Gary and Nancy Morris of Paris invented the Footbar Walker, which is designed to assist those who have trouble standing on their own.
The Footbar Walker story was featured on WNBJ and introduced by reporter Jackson Overstreet.
“Footbar Walker embodies what our Made in Tennessee stories are all about,” said Overstreet.
“Gary and Nancy are a true treasure to Paris and all the people they’re able to help with their invention.”
“After hundreds of votes, the number one viewers’ choice (among Made in Tennessee stories) was the Footbar Walker,” said WNBJ General Manager Peter Noll. “We’re excited to honor Nancy and Gary of Footbar Walker for their ingenuity and celebrate their success.”
Other West Tennessee businesses that made the Viewers’ Favorites list included Century Farms Winery of Jackson, Lawrence Designs of Huntingdon, Give Her Six of Jackson and Yukon Outfitters of Alamo.
