The regular meeting of Susanne Collins’ fourth-grade 4-H club at Paris Elementary School was held on Nov. 29.
The meeting was called to order by president Owen Wade. Secretary Lacie Smith called roll and read the minutes from the last meeting.
Vice president Claire Gray called on Anna Hampton to lead the American pledge and Caleb Roaten to lead the 4-H pledge.
The thought for the day was given by Daniel Tormey and a poem was read by Alyviah Harris.
Hunter Horne gave a demonstration on “How to make an Origami Swan.” Extension agent Staci Foy presented ribbons for the recycled craft projects.
Purple ribbons went to Owen Wade, Abigail Long, Gray, and Reed Jackson. Blue ribbons were given to Smith, Reese Reddick, Horne, Saul Ramirez and Roaten.
The next meeting will be Jan. 24 and the contest will be public speaking.
