A reunion for former workers at The Hanger Ladies Boutique was recently held in Paris.
Delores Byrd-Lynch established The Hanger in 1971. Located on the west side of the court square in downtown Paris, it was in the location now occupied by Moon Jewelers.
Women who attended the reunion were former employees and models. Byrd-Lynch hosted the event to catch up on the lives of the ladies who made the store a success, she said. She added it was dedicated employees and volunteer models who graciously gave of their time and talents for numerous charity fundraising fashion shows.
After almost 17 years of operation, The Hanger was sold to the late Gail Maddox. Maddox and her daughters added a beauty shop and continued in business for several years.
