Larry and Connie Wilson of Smith Road in Paris will be marking their 50th wedding anniversary Friday, and plan a reception Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church.
Wilson and the former Connie Evans were married Jan. 10, 1970, with the late Rev. Keith Smith of Murray officiating.
The groom is the son of Guy Nories Wilson of Paris and the late Martha Wilson. He is a salesman at PMB Services in Paris.
The bride is the daughter of Mamie Evans of Almo, Ky., and the late Ralph Evans.
She has worked in the inventory control department at PMB Services for 37 years.
The couple have two daughters, Laurie Parrish of Buchanan and Amy Spain of Lavinia. They have two grandchildren, Layton Parrish of Buchanan and Landon Spain of Lavinia.
Friends and relatives are invited to a reception from 2-4 p.m. Saturday at Trinity United Methodist Church, 409 N. Wilson St. in Paris. The couple have asked that gifts be omitted.
