Brandy M. Johnston and Sean C. Crowley of Toledo, Ohio, were joined in marriage in a Sept. 21, 2019, ceremony in Toledo.
The bride is the daughter of Dianne and Roderick Swain and Roger Johnston, all of Toledo. The groom is the son of Laverne Crowley of Paris and the late Henry Crowley.
The couple wed in a 3 p.m. ceremony at The Toledo Club, with the Rev. Howard Blalark, senior pastor of the Church of New Beginnings, officiating.
The bride’s father and stepfather gave her in marriage.
Her maid of honor was her sister, Brooke Johnston of Toledo. Her bridesmaids were Andrea Green of Toledo, a friend of the bride; Yolanda Swain of Toledo, her sister-in-law; Briana Swain of Toledo, her sister; Lisa Willis of Toledo, her aunt; and Ka’Lyn Williams of Paris, niece of the groom.
The bride’s daughters, Akacia Johnston and Mckenna Byrd, both of Toledo, also were in the wedding party.
The groom’s best man was his brother, Vik Williams of Paris. His groomsmen were his brother, Myron Crowley of Chicago; Casey Clark of Owensboro, Ky., Jason Graber of New York and Mathew Harbor of Frisco, Texas, friends of the groom; and Benjamin Swain of Toledo, brother of the bride.
After the wedding, a reception was held at Parkway Place in Maumee, Ohio.
The couple plans a honeymoon trip to Dubai for a week in January.
