Two people, including a Puryear resident, were arrested late Thursday in Puryear after methamphetamine and illegal prescription pills were found in a house search.
Michelle L. Thompson, 57, 113 S. McDonald St. in Puryear, and Gary E. Hall, 58, of Benton, Ky., were both charged with possession of meth, Schedule III and Schedule IV drugs, each with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver. Both were also charged with simple possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and tampering with evidence.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Department stated in a press release Friday that $190 was also seized as drug proceeds.
They were taken into custody by Puryear Police Chief Dale Paschall of the Metro Crime Unit at 11:53 p.m. at Thompson’s residence, where the drugs were located.
Both were given bonds set at $27,000 and are scheduled to appear Tuesday in Henry County General Sessions Court.
In unrelated incidents:
• A Puryear woman was arrested by Sheriff’s Sgt. Bryan Hall Friday afternoon for multiple felonies.
Kayce A. Jetton, 30, 4285 Mill Creek Road, was charged with aggravated assault, vandalism and domestic assault after getting detained at 5:18 p.m. at her residence.
Jetton is scheduled to appear Tuesday in General Sessions Court. Her bond was not included in her arrest report.
• A McKenzie man was arrested Friday afternoon and charged with aggravated assault and public intoxication.
Bruce D. Frizzell, 53, 3065 Hwy. 140 southwest of Paris, was arrested by Sheriff’s Deputy Kyle Waldron at 5:33 p.m. at his home.
His bond was set at $10,000. He is set to appear Tuesday in General Sessions Court.
