A White Bluff man was arrested Friday night on charges of aggravated child abuse and neglect by Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy William Whitaker.
Joshua Robbins, 40, was arrested at 8:46 p.m. at the Henry County Sheriff’s Department.
Robbins is due to appear Tuesday in Henry County General Sessions Court, and was booked under a $50,000 bond.
In unrelated incidents:
• A Jackson man was arrested Friday morning on theft charges.
Brandan Lee Baker, 22, was arrested at 10:48 a.m. by Sheriff’s Deputy John Krezinski at the Gibson County Jail in Trenton.
Baker is charged with one count of theft of property over $1,000 and one count of theft of property over $2,500.
• Nine hundred dollars in cash and change was reported stolen on Thursday from a home on Radford Lake Road.
According to an incident report from Sheriff’s Sgt. Wayne Fuqua, the owner said he went out of town and found his lock box empty upon his return.
He said eight $100 bills and about $100 in change were previously in the lock box.
The owner told Fuqua he allowed a woman access to his spare key while he was out of town, so she could pick up some items she left there. He also said the woman would have no idea where the lock box was.
