Two Parisians were arrested Friday morning by the Paris Police Department for alleged drug distribution.

Matthew J. Lindeman, 43, and Ashley M. Weaver, 30, were each charged with possession of methamphetamine with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver and simple possession of a controlled substance.

Lindeman was also charged with unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

According to arrest reports, both were taken into custody by Paris Police Sgt. Daniel Andres and Patrolman Jacob Parris about 3 a.m. on Mineral Wells Avenue.

Bond for Lindeman and Weaver was set at $50,000 for each. They are each set to appear Tuesday in Henry County General Sessions Court.

In an unrelated incident, a Rising Star car hauler trailer was stolen during the weekend from Cottage Grove.

Friday afternoon, the trailer’s owner reported the trailer stolen to the Henry County Sheriff’s Department after he discovered earlier in the day that it was gone from his relative’s residence.

The trailer had last been seen at the residence, which is on Highway 140 near Jones Bend Road, an incident report by Sheriff’s Deputy Craig Barrow indicated.

The trailer is a black, 18-foot double-axle car hauler with three gray wheels and one white wheel. It has an approximate value of $3,600.
