The Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department responded to a house fire Tuesday night on Shiloh Church Road in Mansfield.
According to Mansfield Volunteer Fire Department Asst. Chief Darren Webb, the fire began in the laundry room of the home.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
No major injuries were reported, although Webb said there were some sprains and bruises.
The home, a multilevel home with a basement, sustained heavy smoke and water damage.
Webb said there was fire damage in three rooms of the house.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Department, Paris Fire Department and Henry Volunteer Fire Department assisted Mansfield in fighting the blaze.
