Schools in the Henry County School System and the Paris Special School District will not only be closed Monday for the Columbus Day holiday, but will remain closed through Oct. 18 for fall break.
The Tennessee College of Applied Technology will be open for the holiday.
Paris city hall offices will be open and all city services will operate as usual.
The Henry County courthouse and the annex offices on West Washington Street will be closed, as will the Paris post office windows and there will be no residential mail delivered.
Puryear City Hall will be closed, but Henry City Hall will be open.
The Paris Board of Public Utilities will be open, as will the Paris-Henry County Public Utility District (Natural Gas).
The Paris Housing Authority, Henry County Office on Aging and Henry County Recycling Center will all be closed.
The Northwest Tennessee Economic Development Council Service Center and Nutrition Center will both be closed.
The Henry County Extension office will be open.
The Post-Intelligencer offices will be closed and there will be no newspaper published.
