The Paris-Henry County Arts Council will be bringing back one of its most popular events, bus trips to attend live productions at the Tennessee Performing Arts Center in Nashville.
The local arts group had been forced to abandon those trips last year because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
However, Chloe Roth, the new director of the council, said Tuesday there is already a plan in place to offer a bus trip in January to see “The Lion King” at TPAC.
The show will be presented at 2 p.m. on Jan. 22, 2022.
Tickets are $129 a person, Roth said, and that includes the musical and the bus trip.
The bus will leave from the arts council office at 203 N. Fentress St. at 10 a.m. on the day of the show and return after the show.
“This is ‘The Lion King’ so we definitely welcome children, but they do have to be accompanied by an adult,” Roth said.
Tickets must be paid for by Nov. 1.
