A Paris man was arrested Tuesday afternoon at his home on a violation of sentence warrant from Carroll County, as well as a local charge of drug possession with intent to distribute.
Douglas Adam Royal, 41, 505 Draper St., was taken into custody at 3:02 p.m. by Paris Police Department Patrolman Johnathan Baxter.
An arrest report indicates he was charged with possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver in addition to the Carroll County warrant for violation of sentence.
Royal is set to appear April 6 in Henry County General Sessions Court. His bond was set at $25,000.
In unrelated incidents:
• A Paris woman was arrested by Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy Steven Dean Jr. Tuesday night for drug possession and probation violation.
Sandra G. Wright, 47, 819 Dobbins St., was charged with possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation.
Her arrest report indicates that she was taken into custody by Dean at 8:07 p.m. on West Wood Street.
She was given a bond of $35,285 and is set to appear April 6 in General Sessions Court.
• A Paris man was arrested Tuesday morning by PPD Investigator Jeramye Whitaker of the Metro Crime Unit and charged with possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.
Bryan C. Clayton, 51, 1206 Lincoln St., was apprehended at 11:28 a.m. on Highway 79 northeast of Paris, according to an arrest report.
His bond was set at $50,000. He is scheduled to appear April 6 in General Sessions Court.
