A riding lawn mower was among several items reported stolen from a home Sunday on East Antioch Road in Springville.
According to a report by Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy John Andrews, the owner of the home told him several items had been stolen in the past two weeks.
There were no signs of forced entry to the house, and the incident is still under investigation.
Items reported stolen include a 48-inch green John Deere riding lawn mower, valued at $500; a red furniture dolly with straps, $150; a 22-inch red Troy-Bilt self-propelled push mower, $85; and two white exterior doors with glass, $85.
In an unrelated incident, a Paris man was arrested Thursday night on drug charges.
Charles E. Pruett, 34, of 1015 Cowan St., was arrested at 11:01 p.m. Thursday at his home by Metro Crime Unit Investigator Jeramye Whitaker.
Pruett was arrested for possession of a Schedule II controlled substance with the intent to sell, manufacture or deliver; and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.
Pruett is scheduled to appear today in Henry County General Sessions Court, and was booked under a bond of $35,000.
