Two Henry Countians were arrested on burglary charges Sunday on Routon Truck Stop Road.
Matthew Lynn Allen, 44, of 100 Railroad Street in Mansfield, and Donna M. Jackson, 52, of 8218 Hwy. 79 southwest of Paris, were arrested at 4:04 p.m. by Henry County Sheriff’s Sgt. Jim Sanders, who had responded to the location on Routon Truck Stop Road after receiving a call that someone was entering a mobile home.
Upon arrival, he spoke to Sheriff’s Deputy Frankie Scott, who had intercepted Allen and Jackson.
Allen told Sanders he was looking for a place to live. Sanders asked if he had the owners’ permission to be there. Allen answered no.
Jackson said several times that she owned the trailer park, which was false.
Sanders said both Allen and Jackson appeared to be under the influence of methamphetamine.
Both were arrested and transported to the Henry County jail.
They were both charged with aggravated burglary. Allen’s bond was set at $20,000, and Jackson’s was set at $10,000.
