Grillling out for Mary's Kids

Tosh Farms and the Henry County Sheriff’s Department grilling team are sponsoring a benefit lunch for Mary’s Kids, a nonprofit group that provides Christmas presents for underprivileged children in the Henry area.

Tosh Farms will be teaming up with the Henry County Sheriff’s Department grilling team Thursday to put on a benefit lunch for Mary’s Kids.

Mary’s Kids is a local organization that provides Christmas gifts for underprivileged children in Henry.

Henry County Sheriff Monte Belew said “It’s always a pleasure for our grilling team to take part in programs such as this.

“It’s also great when we can team up with Tosh Farms, especially for an event which benefits those in the Henry area.”

The organization is a non-profit that provides specifically to local underprivileged children who are not selected for other Christmas assistance programs.

Lunches will be sold from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Thursday at the Henry County Fairgrounds.

Patrons will have the option of a steak or chicken sandwich, paired with chips, a dessert and a drink. The lunches will cost $8.
