A Paris man was arrested late Tuesday by Henry County Sheriff’s Deputy William Whitaker and charged with rape and drug possession.
Theodore R. Clark Jr., 49, 519 Pitt St., was taken into custody at 11:54 p.m. at his home, where more than 10 grams of marijuana and other drug paraphernalia were found by Whitaker, according to his incident report.
Clark was charged with rape, simple possession of Schedule VI drugs and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
Clark is scheduled to appear March 11 in Henry County General Sessions Court. His bond was set at $252,000.
In unrelated incidents:
• A Buchanan woman was arrested Tuesday afternoon at a car wash on Mineral Wells Avenue for multiple crimes.
Jessica Leigh Lemonds, 29, 8345 Hwy. 79 northeast of Paris, was apprehended by Paris Police Cpl. Amber Roaten and charged with possession of Schedule II drugs with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver, unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and criminal simulation.
An arrest report indicates Lemonds was taken into custody at 2:34 p.m.
She is set to appear March 11 in General Sessions Court. Her bond was set at $30,000.
• A Springville woman was booked into the Henry County jail Tuesday afternoon and charged with theft of property.
An arrest report indicates Nichol Doering, 23, 225 Jones Loop, was picked up by Sheriff’s Cpl. Forrest Kemp at 2:15 p.m. in Dyer County.
Doering is to appear March 11 in General Sessions Court. Her bond was set at $10,000.
