A Paris man was arrested Wednesday night in the lobby of the Henry County Sheriff’s Department and charged with assault on an officer.
Shanun Lee Carper, 48, 8 Washington Court, was also charged with disorderly conduct after being arrested by Sheriff’s Cpl. Charles Jacques at 7:23 p.m.
Carper was scheduled to appear Thursday in Henry County General Sessions Court. His bond was set at $5,000.
In unrelated incidents:
• Sheriff’s Lt. William Whitaker of the Metro Crime Unit arrested a Paris man Wednesday night on drug trafficking charges.
Hunter T. Lee, 24, 345 Harrison St., was charged with possession of Schedule III drugs and possession of marijuana, both with intent to sell, manufacture or deliver.
An arrest report indicated Lee was taken into custody at 7:48 p.m. at Johnson Park.
Lee’s bond was set at $12,000. He was scheduled to appear Thursday in General Sessions Court.
• A Paris woman was arrested Thursday morning by Sheriff’s Sgt. Wayne Fuqua for felony theft.
Tabitha D. Ibarra, 36, 214 Norman Drive, was charged with theft of property after being taken into custody at 9:36 a.m. at her home.
She is scheduled to appear Tuesday in General Sessions Court. Her bond is set at $2,500.
