A Henry County man was found dead Monday after an apparent all-terrain vehicle accident near Puryear.
The body of Jerry Camper, 69, 13275 Hwy. 641 was found Monday morning in a field behind his home, according to information from Sheriff’s investigator Bryan Hall.
According to Hall, Camper was last seen early Sunday afternoon by a family member when he left to go hunting.
When Camper was not found at his home Monday morning, a neighbor began trying to locate him on the farm land behind the residence.
After Camper’s body was found, Hall and Danny Tucker, a death investigator for the Henry County Sheriff’s Department, were called to the scene. Based on their investigation, Camper apparently had a four-wheeler accident which led to his death, Hall said.
Funeral arrangements will be announced by McEvoy Funeral Home.
