• Tat’l Tales Daycare food, 411 Charles McCaig Lane, Paris — July 23. Score: 98.

• Woody’s Pizza, 849 Volunteer Drive, Paris — July 23. Score: 83. Critical violations: person in charge not present, demonstrating knowledge or performing duties (person in charge did not demonstrate active managerial control); bare hand contact with ready-to-eat foods (observed employee handle bread and lettuce with bare hands while putting sandwich together, manager stated establishment has no gloves on hand at the present time because their distributor has been out for the past two weeks, stated they had not been able to find any locally, suggested they borrow some from nearby establishment); improper cold holding temperatures (ready-to-eat meatballs, steak, noodles, ham, chicken, chicken wings and salami at 46-50 degrees, moved to walk-in cooler during inspection); improper date marking and disposition (cooked lasagna noodles in bottom of make unit dated July 7, ready-to-eat eggs and roast beef in walk-in cooler dated July 8 and July 12, ready-to-eat ham in walk-in cooler not date marked, discarded 6 pounds during inspection and discussed proper date marking and disposition). A follow-up inspection was completed July 29, with critical violations corrected and score adjusted to 98.

• Prater’s Taters, 1055 Mineral Wells Ave., Suite 16, Paris — July 23. Score: 91. Critical violations: food not properly separated and protected (raw steak stored over tomatoes in refrigerator, rearranged during inspection); improper date marking and disposition (ready-to-eat baked potatoes in refrigerator and ready-to-eat barbecue, chicken, ground beef and steak in bottom of make unit not date marked). A follow-up inspection was completed the same day, with critical violations corrected and score adjusted to 100.

• Subway, 201 Tyson Ave., Paris — July 27. Score: 97. This was a follow-up inspection, with critical violations corrected from July 17.

• Hardee’s, 1005 Mineral Wells Ave., Paris — July 29. Score: 98.

• Burger King, 1016 Mineral Wells Ave., Paris — July 29. Score: 99. This was a follow-up inspection, with critical violations corrected from July 17.

• Papa John’s, 1056B Mineral Wells Ave., Paris — July 29. Score: 99. This was a follow-up inspection, with critical violations corrected from July 20.
