Bobby French (left) of Big Sandy and Joseph Tate of Henry assemble part of the fuselage of a Skykits Corp. aircraft Friday morning. The two were among the four local employees that began training at the company’s new factory at the Henry County Airport last week. The company started working at its 21,050 square foot building Tuesday. The $2.5 million factory includes a showroom, hangar, board room, parts and assembly rooms, avionics room and lunchroom. Final touches on the building are expected to be completed in the next two months. Skykits president Eric Giles said he hopes to see the company’s four-man workforce grow to 12 by year’s end.
