Henry County High School's Class of 2022 gleefully toss their caps skyward as they sing the final notes of the HCHS Alma Mater at the close of Friday night's graduation ceremony. The school's 53rd Commencement ceremony saw 288 students awarded their high school diplomas. Michele Webb, HCHS principal, said the class had been awarded $3,290,744 in scholarships so far. Look for additional coverage in Monday's edition of The P-I, including full transcripts of speeches delivered by the valedictorian, salutatorian, honorable mention and class president. Photos from the evening, including the graduates receiving diplomas, will be available for purchase at parispi.net in the coming days.
