City adding sidewalk, curbing to Dale Street

David Mitchell of the City of Paris Public Works Department operates an excavator Monday afternoon to dig out space on Dale Street for a new sidewalk and curb to be built. Construction of the sidewalk begins near where Dale Street intersects with Tyson Avenue and will reach to Dunlap Street. According to the City of Paris, it will take about a month to complete the sidewalk barring weather delays. The sidewalk will be an important connector from the sidwalks on Tyson Avenue to neighborhoods in the area around Grove School.
