PARIS, TN: Paris Walmart closing for cleaning, to reopen Sunday

The Walmart store in Paris closed unexpectedly at 2 p.m. Friday to undergo extensive cleaning. Signs in the front doors told customers the store will be closed until 7 a.m. Sunday for "cleaning and stocking." The Post-Intelligencer attempted to contact Mark Edwards, store manager, Friday morning but he could not be reached for comment. The store posted on social media the closing was "to protect the health and safety of our associates and customers." It also said the store's pharmacy will continue services during the store closure. Customers should park in the designated locations for pharmacy pickup. When they arrive, they should call 644-0220 to inform the pharmacy about the pickup.
