PARIS, TN: Big Sandy man dies in Monday wreck

Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Byars (left) talks with Kenny Denton after he loaded a light brown SUV onto his Denton Towing truck, following a fatal wreck at what’s called “Dead Man’s Curve,”  about 5 miles east of Paris on Highway 69A. Larry Loyd Adams, 75, of Big Sandy was killed when the 2003 GMC Envoy he was driving east went off the right edge of the roadway at 7:55 a.m. He overcorrected to the left, then went off the right side of the highway and struck a drainage culvert. The vehicle then rolled over and came to rest facing east, according to an accident report from THP Sgt. Jena Eubanks. Adams, who was ejected from the vehicle, died at the scene.
