PARIS TN: BPU gets by with a little help from its friend

Leon Rogers uses a tractor to pull a Paris Board of Public Utilities truck across a muddy field Saturday morning near Puryear as a crew worked to replace a power pole. Strong winds knocked out power to about 1,900 customers Saturday morning, with power fully restored by Saturday afternoon. Among those who chipped in to help was Rogers, who helped tow BPU trucks back and forth across the field so they could set a new pole without getting trucks stuck.
