Parisians pull together for Santa

A 16-foot tall, lighted Santa Claus greets sightseers Monday afternoon as he hangs from the Eiffel Tower in Paris. The Paris-Henry County Chamber of Commerce and Downtown Paris Association teamed up with the City of Paris and its Parks and Recreation Department along with the Paris Utility Authority to install Santa onto the tower. Funds raised from Downtown Unwrapped sponsorships helped pay for the decor. Santa will be lit up after dark throughout the Christmas season for everyone to enjoy.
