Womanless wedding from early 1940s

Dan Bundy of Paris submitted this womanless wedding picture, taken in 1942 or 1943 at the former Atkins-Porter School in Paris. In this fundraiser, featuring prominent local men, his father, Billy Bundy, portrayed the tall bride marrying Pete Lasater, as the short groom wearing a ball and chain. Those participating are (from left) Harold Cooper, Porter Brice, John Butler, C.C. Scott, James Vincent, Homer Hedges, Pete Lasater, Billy Bundy, John B. Arnett, Rantz Sturmf, Joe Hogan, Edgar Culley and Paul White.
