Letting that soul show

Members of the Kentucky-based musical group Soul Dog, including, from left, Ron Coleman, lead vocals, Kevin Qualls, bass, Chuck Haney, soprano saxophone, and Steve Rowlett, trumpet, perform Tuesday night at Eiffel Tower Park. Band members not pictured include Veda Haney, drums, and David Booth, guitar. The latest performers at the Tuesdays in the Park Summer Series brought smooth blends of R&B, jazz and Motown music for a well-sized crowd underneath clear skies. The last concert of this summer series will be music from Rockin’ Randall French, who will perform at 7 p.m. next Tuesday at Eiffel Tower Park.
