Woman airflifted after collision in Henry

A two-vehicle wreck led to a woman who was driving a maroon Ford Taurus to be airlifted to Nashville at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. The Taurus collided with the red Chevrolet 1500 pictured above at the intersection of Highway 79 southwest of Paris and Pioneer Road. Nobody else was injured. The truck had two male passengers in it. Members of the Henry Volunteer Fire Department and Henry County EMS had to extract the woman from the Taurus with help from Tennessee Highway Patrol troopers, Henry County Sheriff’s Department officers and the Paris Fire Department.
