PARIS TN: Heave-ho

Henry County High School graduating senior Roger Varneke throws his cap into the air after he receives his diploma Friday afternoon on the circle drive in front of the school. HCHS hosted a special ceremony for Varneke because he has joined the Army and will be leaving this week for Fort Leonard Wood, Mo., where he will train to become an artillery crewman. Because of his departure, he won’t be in Paris to attend commencement exercises with the rest of the Class of 2020 graduates this Friday.
