PARIS TN: Rhea Elementary readies young readers

Guest reader Joey Brush (left) reads aloud Tuesday from Andrea Beaty’s Rosie Revere, Engineer to a group of students around a makeshift campfire set up at Rhea Elementary School’s Read to be Ready Summer Reading Program. The club, which has a summer camp theme this year, runs throughout June for rising kindergartners and students in grades 1-2. Brush is the curriculum instruction and assessment coordinator for the Paris Special School District.
