PARIS TN: A fish in water

Dan Knowles (left) and Downtown Paris Association Executive Director Kathy Ray admire one of the 10 newest additions to the Paris catfish family on Wednesday. This fish was decorated by artist Jane Baars with a multitude of shining, beautiful mirror tiles. The fish’s new home is at Ellis Heating Co. on Highway 641 southeast of Paris. The other nine new statues include the Grove Tower Building, sponsored by FFA, featuring D.M. Clements; Henry County High School, sponsored by the Class of 1987; Eiffel Gardens Assisted Living; Sight 2 See office of Dr. Lauren Ballard May; Paris Payday Loans; Forever Communications’ WTPR building on Brewer Street; Silverwood Cabinetry; Tennessee Valley Community Church; and the World’s Biggest Fish Fry. More details and photos of the new fish and their sponsors can be found online at www.parispi.net.
