Driver dies in Monday morning wreck

Tennessee Highway Patrol Trooper Jeremy Byars (left) talks with Kenny Denton after he loaded a light brown SUV onto his Denton Towing truck, following a fatal wreck at what’s called “Dead Man’s Curve,” about 5 miles east of Paris on Highway 69 South. The one-vehicle wreck shortly before 8 a.m. Monday happened when the eastbound SUV ran off the right side of the highway, ejecting the man who was driving. He died at the scene. Further details haven’t yet been released by THP.
