National gas situation impacts Paris

Joe Pillow, who lives south of Henry, fills up three gas containers Wednesday morning at Fuel Pro on Tyson Avenue, which he said is the closest gas station to his home. The note pictured, announcing a gallon limit for customers, was found taped to fuel pumps at Patriot Mart on East Wood Street. With fuel now in limited supply because of the Colonial Pipeline shutdown, gas prices rose Tuesday in Paris, as high as $2.85 per gallon for regular gasoline as of Wednesday morning.
