PARIS, TN: A different kind of patrol car

Henry County Sheriff’s Department Chief Deputy Damon Lowe (left) issues a new patrol car to Deputy Jimmy Cole. The car has been specially striped with the Tennessee Suicide Prevention Network’s mental health crisis line number, 855-274-7471, along the side. The crisis line is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to anyone who suffers from mental illness, anyone having thoughts of harming themselves or anyone who has information about someone who may be having thoughts of harming themselves. “This is just another step to bring awareness and be proactive to assist and help anyone who may need it,” said Lowe. Anyone who feels they need help or assistance can also call the Sheriff’s Department at 642-1672.
