Don’t get stuck in the mud

Tyler Hummer with the Paris Utility Authority water department braces as he prepares to enter a murky puddle coming from a leaking water line Thursday morning underneath West Washington Street between Paris city hall and Rhea Public Library. The PUA was notified of the damaged pipe on Wednesday and finished fixing the damage on Thursday afternoon. The sizable hole on West Washington Street has since been patched up and the street is once again open to traffic.
