PARIS TN: Casting her ballot

Stella Bobo (left) of Paris gets her ballot in the 2020 presidential preference primary from DeLaina Green, Henry County administrator of elections, Wednesday morning at the new election commission office in Weston Hall on the Grove School campus. It was the first day of early voting for the March 3 election, and the first voting that’s taken place since the election commission relocated. Green said the first day turnout was light, with a total of 72 people casting votes in the election as of 3 p.m. Wednesday. Early voting will be from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays and from 9 a.m. to noon this Saturday and on Feb. 22, will continue at the office through Feb. 25.
