PARIS TN: Almost $10,000 raised for fallen officer

Customers take advantage of the chance to buy pork tenderloin and chicken sandwiches during a Henry County Sheriff’s Department fundraiser Thursday at the Henry County Fairgrounds. Sheriff Monte Belew said $9,626 was raised. It was a joint effort between the Sheriff’s Department and Tosh Farms. Belew said the check would be delivered Monday to the Metro police department. “On behalf of our department and all law enforcement agencies, we sincerely appreciate Thursday’s support,” he said.
