PARIS TN: HCHS performance of ‘Steel Magnolias’ coming this weekend

Piper Waters (front), playing Shelby Eatenton-Latcherie, Zoe Pouliot (standing), playing Truvy Jones and Ella Seaton (back) playing Clairee Belcher are pictured rehearsing their lines Friday afternoon for the HCHS Thespians’ upcoming performance of the 1987 play “Steel Magnolias.” The show will be performed at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Linda Wilson Miller Theater inside HCHS, 315 S. Wilson St in Paris. Tickets for the performances are priced at $10 for adults and $8 for students and can be purchased online at www.our.show/hchssteelmags. Tickets can also be bought at the door before each performance but cash will not be accepted. Other performers slated to appear include Olivia Grace Wyatt playing Annelle Dupoy, Anna Hefner playing M’Lynn Eatenton and Madison Edmonds playing Ousier Boudreaux.
