Carolyn White Cheek, 72, of Paris died Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, at Anna Mae Owen Hospice House of Murray.
A private family graveside service was held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 15, 2020, at Olive Branch Cemetery. Trent Bullock of First Baptist Church officiated.
A celebration of life will be planned for a later date for the public to attend.
Cheek was born March 22, 1948, in Dyersburg to the late Nelson White and Edith Hogue White.
Cheek is survived by a daughter, Suzanne (Mark) Wilkerson of Paris; a grandchild, Jessica (Brandon) French of Buchanan; a great-grandchild, Connor French; a niece, Tracy White of Bruceton; and other family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a nephew, Vic White.
Cheek was a longtime member of Fairview Baptist Church. She enjoyed working in her yard. Carolyn tried every day to be a blessing to anyone who crossed her path.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be made to: Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, Anna Mae Owen Hospice House or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
