Dollie Catherine Buckley Paschall, 97, of Puryear died Friday, June 21, 2019, at Murray-Calloway County Hospital.
Her funeral service was Saturday at McEvoy Funeral Home, officiated by Don Campbell and Tellus “Mackie” Gallimore.
Pallbearers were family and friends.
Burial was in Puryear City Cemetery.
Paschall was born Sept. 17, 1921, in Weakley County. She was the daughter of the late Marion A and Shellie Stephens Buckley.
She was married Sept. 17, 1946, to T.C. Paschall, who preceded her in death in 1989.
She is survived by a daughter, Nedra Gail Blankenship of Paris; a son, Tommy Dale Paschall of Kevil, Ky.; five grandchildren: Russell (Amanda) Blankenship, Darrel (Mattea) Blankenship, Gabrielle (Justin) Trott, and Josh and Ashley Paschall; seven great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Robbie May Buckley and Carnell Lowry, both of Paris.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by a grandson, Derrick Blankenship; a sister, Raye Buckley; and a brother, James Buckley.
Paschall was a secretary for the National Youth Association, formerly of Paris. She also worked for the Charles Store and Salant and Salant.
During World War II, she worked at Briggs Aircraft in Detroit and the Milan Arsenal. She was a member of the Puryear Church of Christ and the PTA.
