Former waitress Gladys Isbell Allred, 80, of Paris died Thursday, June 27, 2019, at her home.
Her funeral service was Saturday at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Mike Wimberley officiating.
Pallbearers were family members.
Burial was in Olive Branch Cemetery in Cottage Grove.
Allred was born Dec. 4, 1938, in Trimble. She was the daughter of the late Edgar Leonard and Ruthie Mae Crawford Isbell.
She was married July 25, 1985, to Willie Waldon Allred of Paris, who survives.
In addition to her husband, she is also survived by a stepdaughter, Dianna (John) Tibbatt of Amory, Miss.; six stepgrandchildren: Bonnie Buchanan, Tracy Shanklin, Matthew Irvin, and Joseph, Stevie and Sheree Allred; eight stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Betty Qualkinbush of Murfreesboro.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by a stepson, Gary Steve Allred; two sisters, Tincie Mae Pannell and Mary Lou Hawkins; and a brother, Billy Isbell.
She was a member of Olive Branch United Methodist Church in Cottage Grove and a former member of the Church of God in Tupelo, Miss. A family member said she enjoyed reading her Bible, fishing in Garrett Lake, quilting and cooking.
