Peggy Boyd, 69, of Paris died Thursday, Oct. 3, 2019, at Henry County Medical Center. No cause of death was given.
Her funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Mount Zion Baptist Church, with the Rev. M.A. Richardson to officiate.
Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the church. Trinity Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Boyd was born Feb. 22, 1950, in Paris. She was the daughter of Edna Mae Terry of Paris, who survives, and the late Hobert Terry.
She was married on Dec. 27, 1967, to Charles Boyd, who survives.
In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by a daughter, Katrina (Gary) Teague; a son, Tony Boyd; five grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a sister, Edna Faye Kinley; a brother, Edward Ray Terry; and a nephew, Eric Kinley.
She was educated in the Henry County school, graduating from Central High School. She was a factory worker for many years. She was a member of Mount Zion Baptist Church.
