Winifred Cynthia Bobo, 64, of Paris died Wednesday, Sept. 15, 2021, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
Services will be at noon Saturday at Progressive Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to noon Saturday at the church. Rawls Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
Winifred Cynthia “Cindy” Cowan Bobo was born to her parents Walter Cowan Jr., who survives, and the late Julia Cowan on Jan. 20, 1957, in Paris.
On Nov. 26, 1988, Cindy was married to Pierce Bobo, who survives. They legally adopted four children.
Along with her father and husband, she is survived by eight children: Quotesha (George III) Williams, James (Alecia) Bobo, Michael (Sandra) Bobo, Lee (Michelle) Lumpkin, Joey (Roxanna) Ayers, Mario Pollard, Crystal Crawford and Carol Curtis; sister, Margie (Vincent) Nolen; and cousins: Yvette (Rodney) Littleton Sr. and Emily Mae Arnold.
In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Vinson; mother-in-law, Edna Cox Ray; father-in-law, James E. Ray; grandmother, Frances Cowan; and aunt, Dorothy Williams.
